Resources for the Ukrainian Crisis

This is a very difficult time for all of us. Living in Hungary in the past few weeks, I feel significantly close to what is happening in Ukraine right now and feel it is of most importance to share with as many people as possible how colossal this really is. 130,000 refugees have entered Hungary from Ukraine so far and many more are coming. They come with little more than what is on their backs. With all of this happening, so many communities have stepped up to the forefront of support by either hosting Ukrainian families in their homes, donating necessary supplies or organizing advocacy related avents, but there is always more to do. To people in the United States right now or in a country that cannot lend in person relief to the people of Ukraine, I would like to provide some legitimate resources that you can choose from. Specifically in Hungary right now, the refugee crisis is the main focus for donations and financial support as Hungary shares a border with Ukraine. Please consider any of these options. Our school has vetted and approved these organizations as being the most effective right now. 

https://karitasz.hu/ : This organization accepts money donations that support people coming in from Ukraine–more specifically at the border–with housing, food, clothing and medical aid. 

https://www.unicef.org.uk/donate/donate-now-to-protect-children-in-ukraine/ : UNICEF U.K is accepting donations for the Ukrainian children. In particular, the basic necessities that they are lacking (emergency water and hygiene kit).

https://razomforukraine.org/razom-emergency-response/ : This organization aims at providing critical medical supplies and amplifying the voices of Ukranians in this devastating time. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
