Ruby, thanks so much for sharing. I didn't know this story about your grandpa (my cousin!) Tim, and I'm excited for the day I can safely reunite with him in person and ask him about his work with Move On. Very cool!!!

Love this, Ruby. You keep it short but packed full (which holds readers’ interest). And I love the mix of story combined with the purpose behind petitions. Well said. Motivational. Thanks for sharing this.

I've always looked up to Tim, but it's amazing the things I didn't know about my own brother. Thank you, Ruby! Abbe

Truly a great written story and one that sounds like many others . The pain and misery brought to us by that war, marked a generation and was painful and long term injurious to so many vets. It is a debt not yet paid for their service.

Your Grandpa is a humble man who doesn't often toot his own horn. I am among those who did not know that Tim had invested so very much energy in his chosen cause, Move On. Vietnam left a mark on so many individuals and families. I'm so glad you got to shine a light on both Tim's resilience and means of protest. Good work!

Vietnam had a big impact on my dad and our family. Thank you for capturing the essence of its impact on Tim in the loss of his voice and connecting it to his activism later on in life. He doesn't like talking about the war much so what you got coupled with the information you learned about Move On really helps tell a story. Tim was mad about this war but found a way to use that anger productively to try and make a difference. You heard that! I like the short and sweet style of your writing.

I love that you are highlighting so many different ways to make a change. I can't imagine what it must've been like for your grandpa to have to participate in a war he didn't agree with.
